My memories are missing — what should I do?

This usually happens due to a login method mix-up. Here’s what to try:

    1. Check your login method – If you originally signed in with Google, make sure you’re using Google again (not Apple or email). Apple creates a separate account, which is the #1 cause of this issue.

    2. Turn on Backup Data – Go to Settings and make sure “Backup Data” is enabled so your memories can sync.

    3. Force a refresh – Pull down on the home screen to sync, then wait 30 seconds.

    4. Check the web – Visit app.twinmind.com and log in with your original credentials. Your data often shows up there first!

Even in cloud mode, your audio is processed in real time and deleted after transcription by default. If you turn on Save Audio, your recordings are securely stored until you delete them.

  • How is TwinMind different from other AI note-taking tools?

How is TwinMind different from other AI note-taking tools?

A key difference is TwinMind’s focus on personalized memory rather than treating your entire knowledge base as a flat set of identical notes. TwinMind organizes each file in chronological order and weights it by importance. As a result, your notes and transcripts form a dynamic timeline that the AI references for context and relevancy. This structure lets you ask pinpoint queries like “What did I discuss with ___ last month?” or broader requests such as “Summarize last week’s wins and areas I need to work on.” Thanks to this personalization layer, TwinMind can deliver far more context-aware and higher-quality responses over time.
