How does TwinMind protect my privacy?

Does TwinMind for Chrome see all my browsing history?

No. Only when you click the send button, the information in the tabs you manually added is sent to LLMs which have zero data retention policies. Your data is never shared with any third party or used for training AI models. All your chat history is stored locally on your device and encrypted securely.

What is the difference between local mode and cloud mode?

In local (private) mode, all data is stored exclusively on your device, ensuring maximum privacy and control over your information. Cloud mode allows your data to be securely backed up on our encrypted Private Cloud, so you don't lose your memories if your device breaks. Even in cloud mode, your audio is always processed on-the-fly and never stored anywhere.

What happens if I lose or break my device? Can I recover my data?

Your data is encrypted and stored only on your device, and you may lose it if the device is lost or damaged unless you have enabled cloud backups. In cloud mode, your data is securely backed up on our servers, allowing you to recover it and sync across new devices seamlessly.
