Is TwinMind always listening?
No. Capture starts when you start it and stops when you stop it. When you are not capturing, the microphone is off and TwinMind hears nothing.
What platforms does TwinMind support? Does a bot join my calls?
No bot joins your calls, ever. TwinMind captures on your own devices: the Chrome extension for browser meetings, the Mac and Windows apps for Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, and other desktop meeting apps, and the phone app for in-person conversations and calls. Nothing appears in your meeting, and mobile meeting apps aren't captured directly.
What languages does TwinMind support?
TwinMind transcribes in 140+ languages. Set your preferred language in Settings, and if you turn on Translate Transcript, your transcripts, summaries, and answers arrive in that language no matter what was spoken. This changes the content only, not the app's interface language.
What other apps can TwinMind connect to?
Your calendar and email connect directly, so your TwinMind knows what's coming up and what you've promised people. And through MCP, you can bring your memories into ChatGPT, Claude, or any tool you've hooked up to them, and they'll know your life the way your TwinMind does.
How is TwinMind different from other note-takers?
TwinMind is more than a notetaker. A notetaker hands you a document when the meeting ends, TwinMind captures your whole day, builds your second brain from it, and creates what you need before you ask.
Does TwinMind share my data or use it to train AI?
TwinMind processes audio in real time and does not store it by default unless you choose to save it. Your data is never sold, used for advertising, or used to train third-party AI models. Recordings, transcripts, and notes are processed only to provide TwinMind features such as transcription, summaries, search, and syncing.
Is TwinMind free to use?
Yes. The Free plan needs no credit card and doesn't expire. It includes unlimited summaries & chat. Paid plans add premium AI models, speaker separation, audio uploads, MCP access, and higher usage limits.
