We’re introducing Voice Typing Mode, a new way to write using your voice.
You can start recording with one click (or a keyboard shortcut), speak naturally, and stop to instantly turn your speech into text.

How to use it

1. Start Voice Typing Mode
   - Click Voice Typing from the expanded floating button, or
   - Use the keyboard shortcut on your laptop

2. Speak
   - While it’s recording, say what you want to write.

3. Stop to convert to text
   - Press the button/shortcut again to stop.
   - Your recording is sent for transcription and converted into text.

What happens next
- If you’re currently typing in a place where text can be inserted (like an input box, email, document, chat, etc.), the text will be inserted automatically.
- If we can’t insert text on that page, we’ll show your transcript and ask you to copy it, so you can paste it wherever you want.

- Write faster without typing
- Great for messages, emails, notes, and drafting
- Works even when direct typing isn’t possible (you can always copy the transcript)

• The Send button now reliably reflects what’s in your chat box :

• It no longer gets “stuck” disabled after a response is generated.

Recording Experience Improvements

• Improved internal tracking of when recordings end, laying the groundwork for more accurate recording behavior and summaries.

• Audible recording timer has been increased from 2 seconds to 3 seconds, giving you a slightly longer and clearer audio cue.

More Consistent Sidebar Behavior

• Removed some old automatic zoom and resize behaviors tied to screen size that could make the side panel feel inconsistent.
