What are we building?
Imagine an AI that remembers every conversation, every idea, every moment that shaped your thinking. Not to replace your mind, but to amplify it. To help you connect dots you never saw before and whisper the perfect insight just when you need it most.
We're TwinMind, and we're creating the world's first AI "second brain"—one that captures everything you see and hear, building a perfect digital memory that makes you superhuman at being you.
Our founding team has shipped moonshots at Google X, generated $1B+ revenue on Wall Street, contributed to Nobel Prize-winning discoveries, and grown startups to millions of users. We're backed by Silicon Valley's top VCs—the same visionary investors behind Facebook, Robinhood, and Zapier.
What you'll do
Build and maintain Chrome extensions and full-stack web applications, working across the entire tech stack from browser extension architecture to GCP backend services, with a focus on creating smooth, intuitive user interfaces while collaborating with designers
Develop Chrome extension features using manifest V3, write React components for extension popups and options pages, architect scalable backend services on Google Cloud Platform, optimize database queries, debug production issues across extension and cloud infrastructure, and participate in code reviews
Own features from conception to deployment across both extension and web platforms, making decisions about technical implementation and user experience while mentoring junior developers, contributing to technical documentation, and helping shape engineering culture and practices
You might be a fit if you
Have 3+ years building web applications professionally with experience in browser extension development, genuinely enjoy crafting user interfaces, and understand the unique constraints of Chrome extension architecture
Are comfortable with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, have strong experience with React or similar frameworks, can write clean semantic HTML/CSS, have experience with Chrome Extension APIs and manifest V3, and have deployed applications on Google Cloud Platform
Have built RESTful APIs, worked with SQL databases on GCP (Cloud SQL, Firestore), understand GCP services like Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub, debug methodically across distributed systems, write tests without being asked, and can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Stay curious about new technologies but remain pragmatic about production choices, understand extension security best practices and GCP cost optimization, caring as much about the end user's experience as code quality
Perks:
Small team, big ownership—you ship user-visible features every week and influence product direction
Hybrid flexibility—core days in Menlo Park HQ with founders; focus days remote
Unlimited PTO
Daily catered lunch—enjoy fresh, quality meals with the team at our Menlo Park office
Rapid growth path toward Staff/Principal or Engineering Manager
